Congratulations to Canadian Teams

The three Canadian Teams that were invited to the 2009 ASCE/AISC National Student Steel Bridge Competition, an event co-sponsored by the CISC and SSEF, did very well. Lakehead University Team finished with an impressive 3rd place overall. A total of 47 teams competed at the national level. Teams were evaluated according to the following categories: Construction Speed, Lightness, Display, Stiffness, Economy, and Efficiency. École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) Team came in 1st place for Display and Université Laval Team came in 1st place for Economy.
