BCE Place: Heritage Square and Galleria + Vancouver International Airport
This interactive CD-ROM provides colourful and complete case study information on the construction of BCE Place by Santiago Calatrava and the construction of The Vancouver International Airport by Architectura and Bush Bohlman Engineers. Included are photos of the fabrication, construction, design information and finished building. The CD also contains a limited case study of the construction of the new terminal building at Pearson International Airport in Toronto as well as other significant steel projects.
The project was funded by SSEF and developed by Professor Terri Meyer Boake of the School of Architecture, University of Waterloo.
The CD is available in both Windows and Macintosh formats. Also included on the CD are bonus folders of images of all of the projects addressed on the CD-rom, as well as small MPEG files of the finished state of the buildings.
The project has been upgraded in 2008 to include new images and to operate on Mac OS/X. It is included now on the data DVD for Volume 2: Skytrain.
